As a continuation of the previous issue, SINCERE and other European-level research projects have pointed out issues for realizing the blessings of diverse forests in Europe, highlighting the reality that environmental aspects such as biodiversity conservation and production and economic aspects such as the use of wood and biomass as eco-materials are not always addressed in an integrated manner. Also, it is highlighted that even within Europe, there are extremely large differences between regions and countries depending on the situation such as the abundance of forests and urbanization. In addition, it shows landscape maps of different degrees of naturalness and introduces the results of a questionnaire survey on which landscapes people prefer.
