Citizen's Lecture in Sophia Forest No.2: “Enjoy the Spring Forest”

I participated in the notation event (June 5, Karuizawa Town) sponsored by the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Sophia University as a lecturer. The weather forecast was rainy, but the day was blessed with good weather and it was a pleasant walk in the forest. The green was darker than last month, and I could see white flowers of mizuki, fuji, and fluffy flying Usubashiro-cho. Also, the flowers on the forest floor have changed completely from May. In addition, the forest instructor taught me how to compare poison ivy and normal poison ivy and how to distinguish white butterflies. One point, I was surprised to walk in the forest. Part of the forest is wet with water despite the fine weather. Looking around, there was a big tree of mizuki. Apparently the tree dropped the water. If I had a chance, I would like to find out.
