From September 29 to October 1, the autumn activities of the Iwaizumi Matsutake Mountain Development Cooperation Team, which was the third year since the start of the program, were held. This time, 15 people, including new faces, participated from inside and outside the prefecture. We have been involved in this activity since the conception stage, and this time we could participate only on the first day. On the first day, September 29, we mainly checked the occurrence status of matsutake mushrooms in areas where maintenance had been carried out until last year. Unfortunately, due to the effects of this year's abnormal weather that prolonged the unprecedented heat wave, summer mushrooms such as chichitake were still abundant and no occurrence of matsutake mushrooms was observed.
